Oz Pack
Red River Solutions has developed a configuration of Microsoft Office Accounting which allows Australian businesses to use the software effectively. The configuration includes:
- Australian currency
- GST and BAS reports
- GST configuration tool
- Optional ability to integrate with Point of Sale software
Red River Solutions also offers support for Microsoft Office Accounting and the Oz Pack configuration in Australia. Training courses are available (subject to demand) at our training facilities in Molong.
Can OzPack be used with the express version of Microsoft Office Accounting?
Yes. OzPack can be used with the express edition but only the UK release, not the US edition.
I have already setup a company in the trial version and begun entering data. Can this data be transferred to the OzPack template?
No. This is due to the changes required to make the data compatible. You can re-enter your data or Red River can migrate your existing data for a fee.
Does OzPack just alter the stylesheet to change the UK pound symbol to a dollar sign and VAT labels to read GST?
No. OzPack is not a stylesheet it is a template company. It changes more than symbols and labels. However, VAT labels still appear on some screens.
Does OzPack change the reports for GST and the BAS?
Yes. The reports have been updated to show GST and a report has been created which gives you the values to manually fill in your BAS.
Can my Quickbooks data be transferred?
Yes. Microsoft Office Account has inbuilt tools to import Quickbooks data.
Can my MYOB data be imported?
We have migrated data from MYOB however each dataset differs. Please contact us for a quote.
Is OzPack affected by updates to Microsoft Office Accounting?
Unaffected to date.
